IT Home learned from Qiyuan Robotics’ official WeChat account that the company officially launched 2 personal robots, the Qiyuan Q1 and Qiyuan T1, on September 20. The completion of its 5,000th robot indicates that its capacity for large-scale robot production and delivery is gradually taking shape.
Gao Quanzhong, co-president and president of central R&D at Qiyuan Robotics, said the company now produces 1 robot every 2.5 minutes, with daily production capacity rising from just over 10 units to more than 200.
Qiyuan Robotics has also worked with suppliers to establish an automated raw-material warehouse, pioneered a semi-automated assembly line, and built an end-to-end manufacturing IT system that enables traceability throughout the entire process.
