IT Home reported on October 29 that applications for the Tencent Drive closed beta are now open, with a submission portal available on its official website.
According to the introduction, Tencent Drive supports connecting multiple AI applications, sharing storage and aggregating context. It claims that “the data outputs of all AI applications within the ecosystem are brought together and retained, continuously building long-term memory assets.”
According to the introduction, Tencent Drive has 4 core capabilities:
Storage: Outputs from the suite are saved together to the drive, forming a foundation of assets that WorkBuddy can access at any time.
Connectivity: Office tools such as WeCom and Tencent Meeting, as well as mainstream AI tools, are integrated, so you can switch devices or AI tools and pick up where you left off.
Intelligence: It has the same built-in AI capabilities as WorkBuddy, helping you organize materials and extract key points in advance so you can use them directly when needed without searching at the last minute.
Security: Backed by Tencent Cloud storage, files are kept securely and protected throughout transfer, while agents access them according to configured permissions.
The official website shows that Tencent Drive is included with a WorkBuddy membership and does not need to be purchased separately. A single payment for WorkBuddy includes Tencent Drive storage, organization and AI access.
