IT Home reported on October 27 that Skyworth officially unveiled its AI air-purifying range hood at today's 2026 Skyworth Autumn All-Scenario New Product Launch. The company says the product can purify kitchen cooking fumes and incorporates several technologies to remove odors and improve air quality.
A display on the front of the range hood series shows readings such as PM2.5. The products feature an “AI welcome light” and a minimalist, seamless surface finish. The L8 Ultra model delivers an airflow of 35 m³/min for high-heat stir-frying and has a maximum static pressure of 1500 Pa. It supports automatic cruising to prevent backflow. The L8 Pro and L8 have airflow rates of 33 m³/min and 30 m³/min, respectively.
According to the company, the range hoods contain an intelligent infrared chip that works with AI-LBI smoke sensing and extraction to adjust airflow automatically according to cooking fumes, with a claimed accuracy of 98%. The series also features dynamic particle capture technology, which is said to remove 97% of PM2.5, while its AI negative oxygen ion technology has a claimed sterilization rate of 98%. AI-TVOC odor-sensing and purification technology can extract gases including benzene, acetaldehyde and formaldehyde, and issues an alert when CH4 exceeds the limit. The range hoods also support smart features including AI connectivity with a wide range of stoves, AI grease self-checks, AI voice control and AI exhaust duct cruising.
