IT Home reported on November 8 that the 10,000th personal robot from Shangwei New Materials' Qiyuan Robotics has officially rolled off the production line.
Liu Dongfang, co-president of Qiyuan Robotics under Shangwei New Materials and president of its Q business unit, said that Qiyuan robots currently have a monthly active rate of over 98%, a daily peak online rate of over 40%, an average daily online time of 3 hours, and more than 100 interactions per user per day on average.
IT Home noted that at the mass-production site, Liu Dongfang handed a Qiyuan Q1 numbered “NO.10000” to Wu Xiaobo, who represented users.
According to the company, 3 days earlier, Qiyuan Robotics completed the first OTA update since the Qiyuan Q1 and Qiyuan T1 went on sale:
The Qiyuan Q1 added 6 official roles, including Story Magician and Science Explorer, and upgraded 2 learning experiences: spoken English practice and AI introductory lessons.
The Qiyuan T1 added several features, including intelligent terrain recognition, automatic transformation and following, and remote audio and video viewing from the robot’s perspective with movement control, continuing to expand its services for home settings.
