IT Home reported on October 25 that Alibaba announced the launch of a “My Apps” feature for its AI agent, “Qianwen Go!” Users can create apps for daily life, work, study and other purposes simply by describing what they need, without programming. According to reports, “My Apps” is integrated with Alibaba Cloud’s AI application production platform Meoo (Miaowu), which can automatically build applications, configure databases and deploy them. Combined with Qianwen Go’s cloud-based Pro capabilities, it can also, with authorization, access users’ personal data from platforms including Taobao, Amap, Damai and Quark Cloud Drive. Newly created apps can thus use existing records of shopping, travel, study and other activities to produce more personalized tools. For example, users can use their past Damai orders to create a digital ticket-stub album, organizing performances they have attended into a personal collection of memories they can browse at any time.
Currently, both “My Apps” and the cloud-based Pro service, which supports operating cloud phones and cloud computers, are in an invitation-only testing phase. Users can join the queue to apply on the invitation testing page in the Qianwen app.
