IT Home reported on October 27 that Zhiyuan officially released its embodied Agent framework, Genie Master, today, enabling robots to unlock new skills while on the job.
According to reports, during its deployment in a real convenience store, the Genie G2 equipped with the framework identified the causes of its failures, adjusted its strategies, and accumulated experience on its own, without relying on human demonstrations or debugging. It continuously improved at multiple complex, precise tasks, achieving ongoing self-evolution with “no human in the loop.” This marks the industry's first move beyond simulation and out of the laboratory to validate Physical RSI (embodied recursive self-improvement) in a real business setting.
According to Zhiyuan, the Genie G2 equipped with the framework has been tested on tasks including packing prepared foods, picking up goods, and restocking in a convenience store. On November 2, Zhiyuan will also arrange a livestream test in which 6 Genie G2 robots work continuously in a convenience store for 24 hours.
IT Home noted that Zhiyuan yesterday released the Genie G2 Max, a safety-compliant, heavy-duty embodied robot aimed at industrial applications such as palletizing and depalletizing, material handling, and supplying materials to production lines.
