IT Home reported on November 6 that Pangram Labs is an AI laboratory focused on identifying AI-generated content. On November 4, it officially released the Pangram Image 1.0 model. The model can use heatmaps to locate AI-generated content.
Pangram Labs used 12 cutting-edge AI image generators and 100 real images to create a test dataset of 1,200 images. The Pangram Image 1.0 model achieved 99.96% accuracy in this test.
In addition, Pangram Image 1.0 performs well despite the effects of compression, scaling, and manually added edits on detection, while still achieving 96.4% accuracy at a resolution of 256×256.
Released alongside Pangram Image 1.0 was the Pangram Image Flash 1.0 video detection model. It achieved 98.7% accuracy on the DF26 dataset, leading the second-place model by 29 percentage points.
