IT Home reported on October 31 that HKChat, a local AI assistant developed by the Hong Kong Generative AI Research and Development Center (HKGAI), was updated on October 30 with a new AI music generation feature.
The new feature uses YuE2, a large music model developed by HKGAI. Users can hum a tune or upload an image, then enter their ideas for a song, and the AI can instantly compose an original song with professional arrangements and sung vocals.
The new music feature is now available in the HKChat app. Users can tap the “Music” button at the bottom of the home screen to enter the creation interface.
