For intelligent driving, the MONA L05 uses XPeng's second-generation VLA system. The Max version has 1 Turing AI chip with 750 TOPS of effective computing power and supports the second-generation VLA Lite model; the Ultra SE version has 2 Turing AI chips with 1500 TOPS of effective computing power and supports the full version of the second-generation VLA. According to Yiche, the new vehicle uses a vision-only approach and supports NOA functions in cities and on highways.
For powertrains, the all-electric version has a single motor with a maximum output of 183 kW and a 71.1 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. It offers 4 CLTC-range versions: 615 km, 635 km, 640 km and 660 km. The range-extended version has a 1.5 L range extender with a maximum output of 70 kW, a drive motor with a maximum output of 183 kW and a 37.2 kWh battery pack. It offers 3 all-electric range versions—237 km, 245 km and 253 km—and a combined range of 1310 km with a full tank and a full charge.
