IT Home reported on November 8 that the Dewu app has announced support for the Chinese version of Apple Intelligence. Users can photograph a product they are interested in with an iPhone camera to search for related products on Dewu, then view product details, historical price trends, AI-generated interpretations, and reviews from real users to inform their purchasing decisions.
Dewu said that after installing the app, users need only activate Visual Intelligence on a supported iPhone, point the camera at a product they are interested in and take a photo, then select Dewu from the search services to see related products for sale on the platform and their prices. Tapping a search result takes them directly to the corresponding product detail page in the Dewu app.
Taking a pair of running shoes as an example, after opening the product detail page on Dewu, users can check the materials and functional specifications. They can also use AI-generated interpretations to learn about the shoe’s performance characteristics and user feedback, and view historical price changes on Dewu’s price trend chart. This helps consumers decide whether the product suits them and complete a purchase directly after learning about it in detail.
