About 500 US government organizations use Anthropic Claude and weekly Claude for Government users are up about 8x since February, and federal civilian usage has grown about 20x in a year.
Anthropic’s $1-per user federal Claude offer expires October 31, and its replacement is a 40% discount on Claude Enterprise, Claude for Government and the Claude API, billed by usage with no minimum spend.
The discount also reaches state, local, tribal and territorial governments, which the federal-only $1 offer excluded, and will extend to purchases through cloud providers in coming months.
