IT Home reported on October 21 that Google CEO Sundar Pichai appeared on the YouTube channel Alex Kantrowitz today to discuss the latest Gemini 4 Argon model, competition with OpenAI, and other topics.
When the host asked about Google's partnership with Apple, Pichai replied: “For both of us, the goal of this partnership is to turn AI into a better user experience. I think Apple does an excellent job of integrating technology. They will customize the model extensively and then incorporate it into Siri. We're pleased to see such an enthusiastic response from users, and we're committed to deepening our partnership further.”
IT Home noted that when the CEO was asked whether there would be more collaboration with Apple, he said there was nothing he could disclose at present, but their partnership was progressing well.
