丰田成立机器人部门，整合研发并推动生产应用
Toyota Motor Corp. has created a robotics division led by chief production officer Takefumi Shiga. It will bring previously scattered research under one organization and focus on factory applications, commercialization and deployment. The report also says Hyundai Motor Co. has positioned robotics as a core growth pillar, while BYD Co. has signaled interest in investing in robotics systems.

IT之家 11 月 5 日消息，丰田汽车公司（Toyota Motor Corp.）成立了专门的机器人部门，加入全球主要汽车制造商的行列，加速布局机器人技术。
丰田在一份声明中表示，该部门将由公司首席生产官志贺武文（Takefumi Shiga）负责，重点推动机器人在生产一线的实际应用、商业化及部署。此举旨在将公司此前分散开展的机器人研发工作整合到统一的组织架构之下。
