IT Home reported on October 21 that, at today's OneDrive + Copilot event, Microsoft announced that users will be able to edit HTML and Markdown files directly in OneDrive, without relying on a local editor or frequently switching tools.
For HTML files, users will not have to return to the source code view every time: OneDrive supports editing text directly on the rendered page. It also offers a side-by-side “live source code preview” mode, allowing web developers and content creators to view the code and the result at the same time.
