IT Home reported on October 10 that Tencent Cloud announced today that it has open-sourced TeamAI, a tool it uses internally. TeamAI is a Git-based team AI collaboration tool. It brings the Skills, working standards, tool configurations and project knowledge used by a team into a Git repository, where they can be reviewed, updated and versioned like code, then synchronized to each member’s Agent, allowing a configuration created by one person to be reused by the whole team.
IT Home noted that TeamAI currently supports 16 types of Agents, including WorkBuddy, CodeBuddy, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.
TeamAI follows the Git collaboration workflow familiar to developers. When a member submits a skill or changes a standard, it automatically creates a branch and opens a merge request for team review. Once the change is approved and merged, Agents that support session-start Hooks pull the update when a new conversation begins, without requiring individual notifications or manual replacement.
Recently, TeamAI also added the ability to distribute model configurations centrally. For tasks involving internal data and knowledge, team administrators can centrally configure model services that meet the team’s security requirements, reducing the risk of members connecting services themselves or choosing the wrong model.
When situations such as repeated corrections or failed tool calls occur, TeamAI prompts members at the end of a session to share what they learned. An Agent then organizes the problem and its solution into a document and stores it in the team repository. The next time it handles a task, an Agent can search the team’s existing experience and materials according to the current need and find relevant solutions for reference.
After installing the TeamAI Skill, administrators and team members can perform operations in supported AI tools using natural language. TeamAI has also been integrated into Tencent Cloud’s agent management platform, ClawPro. Members can connect the local Agents they use to ClawPro, allowing administrators to manage configurations such as Skills and MCP centrally in the management console and distribute them to connected Agents.
