IT Home reported on November 3 that Lenovo Kaitian announced today the launch of its first AI PC for China's information technology innovation initiative, equipped with a Zhaoxin processor and a Houmo NPU. It provides 160 TOPS of local AI computing power and can support large models with 35 billion parameters. IT Home has learned that the Lenovo Kaitian AI PC is equipped with a Zhaoxin KX-7000 eight-core processor and a Houmo Intelligent Liqing LQ50 NPU. The current configuration provides 160 TOPS of INT8 computing power, while NPU configurations with up to 320 TOPS are supported. It has 24GB of dedicated NPU memory and 153.6GB/s of memory bandwidth, and comes preinstalled with the Kylin operating system and Tianxi AI Pro.
The product also has separately designed cooling airflow paths for the CPU and NPU, together with a front hexagonal honeycomb air intake panel, a high static pressure turbine fan, and an intelligent temperature control mechanism. At an ambient temperature of 25°C, its case temperature is about 33°C at idle and about 41°C under full load; even under full load in a 35°C environment, it is kept at about 46°C. Idle noise is as low as 19.4dB, while noise during full-load NPU inference is about 29.5dB.
In addition, the product has been adapted for mainstream open-source models of different sizes, including the Qwen3.5 series and Qwen3.6-35B-A3B.
