Aether launches cloud runtime for coding agents using existing AI subscriptionsMachine translation

AI introduction

Aether’s cloud runtime keeps Claude Code or Codex working on its own cloud machine after a user closes their laptop, with progress viewable from a phone. Aether says users can keep their existing Claude or ChatGPT subscription and pay only for the machine. Its public benchmark reports 19.4 seconds from prompt to a working build, versus 73.5 seconds for Conductor Cloud.

Aether launched a cloud runtime where Claude Code or Codex runs on its own cloud machine, so the agent keeps working after you close the laptop, and the model stays on the Claude or ChatGPT subscription you already have.

Cloud agents usually meant paying for the model twice and waiting on a sandbox to boot. Its public benchmark shows 19.4 seconds from prompt to a working build, against 73.5s for Conductor Cloud.

Today we’re introducing Aether @aetherruntime. The fastest cloud coding agents in the world that you can use with your existing subscription Give it a task and just 20 seconds later your build is running on its own cloud machine. You can pick up from your phone, watch every line, and step in whenever you want as if it was local. Close the laptop. It keeps going. It runs Claude Code or Codex on the Claude or ChatGPT plan you already pay for so there’s not a 2nd AI bill. You only pay for the machine. When it’s done, if code review is enabled, a reviewer agent runs the code with the changes, which catches classes of bugs that can't be found from static analysis. Before building Aether I built infra at Apple, Uber, and HeyGen. I built Aether because the cloud agents I tried before all had drawbacks, and I couldn't imagine building something without it now. It’s free to start. https://t.co/H4NreKyaF5
