A month before ChatGPT launched in November 2022, an Intel team had already delivered a specialized AI model to an enterprise customer.

Now they're launching Bivia, a multimodal decision model built on years of real production workflows.
It can process documents, images, audio, video, and time-series data, make sequential decisions, and defer to humans when uncertain.
The interesting shift here is from models that generate answers to models designed to complete entire workflows.
