Eligible IDE, license and regional users can activate AI Free for recurring AI Credits. Mainland China and some free IDE editions and license arrangements are excluded; check eligibility first.

Who is eligible
- Use an IDE supporting AI Free, version 2025.1 or later.
- Be in a serviceable territory; Mainland China is currently excluded.
- Android Studio, PyCharm and IntelliJ IDEA Community, and PyCharm Unified used for free are excluded.
- IDE trial licenses do not automatically include AI Free; License Server licenses cannot activate it.
How to claim
- Sign in to your JetBrains account in an eligible IDE and follow the official activation steps.
- Check credits and the next reset date in the JetBrains AI widget.
Usage & billing conditions
- AI Credits cover cloud-model usage; costs vary with tokens, context and model, and are not cash.
- Wait for the next cycle after exhaustion; upgrades and third-party services follow their own cost rules.
Validity
Resets every 30 days from first use of the JetBrains AI license.
Validity follows your signup date or program rules; there is no common claim deadline.
