China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Huawei, Alibaba and other organizations release AI agent self-regulation pact

China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Huawei, Alibaba, Tencent, Xiaomi, Baidu, Volcano Engine, Ant and Douyin jointly drafted and released the pact as part of a group of 20 organizations. Its eight self-regulation measures cover agent interoperability, security and user rights, and call for resisting the use of agents for algorithmic exploitation and illicit activities. The initiators say they will implement the pact and accept oversight.
