Google plans $15 billion investment to expand data centers in Malaysia

Google plans to invest $15 billion in Malaysia in 2027 and 2028 to build new computing centers and expand its cloud business. The investment also covers local water and power supplies and skills training. Google separately announced $160 million for shared water infrastructure in Negeri Sembilan to support its planned data centers.
