Volkswagen Group China has introduced its in-house Hyper Sense 8 driver assistance system, which supports urban and highway navigation-assisted driving and parking assistance across scenarios. It is planned for seven new electrified vehicles from three of the group’s joint ventures this year. Volkswagen also says its GAIA 2.0 AI world model can run safety simulations equivalent to 5 million kilometers of real driving each day.
