NVIDIA completes 104-qubit fault-tolerant computing simulation on JUPITER

NVIDIA announced a 104-qubit fault-tolerant computing simulation on the JUPITER supercomputer to test magic state cultivation. Unlike earlier work simulating 50 qubits without noise, this simulation included realistic hardware noise. NVIDIA says the method requires 90% fewer physical qubits than previous approaches and could help researchers evaluate designs before building hardware.
