Anthropic limits game recreations in Claude Code with Opus 5.5
Anthropic says it added two lines of guidance to Claude Code’s prompt for Opus 5.5 to prevent the model from recreating specific games made by others. Original games, games in an existing genre, and games built with users’ own designs and assets remain permitted. There is no indication that the same restriction extends to other Claude models.
