In Anthropic’s Claude Science setup, Claude selected toxin targets, directed 12 protein-design programs, and chose 180 of 318,484 generated molecules for physical synthesis. The source reports that 17 of 211 designs tested at Adaptyv Bio and Twist Bioscience bound their target toxins. Anthropic is not calling the result an antivenom because the test needed to justify that term has not yet been run.
