Firefox Smart Window tests AI form filling and webpage monitoring

Mozilla has added two features to the Firefox desktop Smart Window beta: form filling can use information from other tabs selected by the user, while webpage monitoring can alert users to price drops, restocks and new job postings. Form analysis requires sending some data to the cloud. Both features are currently limited to English-speaking test users in the US and Canada.

Mozilla updates Firefox Smart Window with form filling from open tabs

Firefox’s Smart Window now helps fill online forms using information from open tabs. In a form with at least four text fields, users can choose “Fill from sources,” review which tabs Firefox will use, and select or deselect them. Mozilla says it can, for example, draw work history from an online portfolio or LinkedIn page for a job application.
