Anthropic announced it would donate the open Agent Skills standard to the Linux Foundation’s Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF) for community governance. The standard lets AI agents load task instructions as needed and reuse workflows across products. The report says more than 70 agent platforms have integrated it, and developers and companies can still use or contribute to the standard without joining AAIF.
