Nvidia unveils European autonomous driving plans as Bolt and five others plan to use Hyperion

Bolt plans to advance European robotaxis using future Lucid vehicles; its first phase requires regulatory approval and is slated to collect data in Madrid in 2027. Lucid is involved in the vehicle partnership. Mercedes will expand L3 and L4 system development, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has shown its ID. Buzz AD platform, Volvo Cars plans to use Hyperion and Alpamayo, and Einride will develop software for autonomous freight trucks. None of these projects has reached full commercial operation on public roads.
