PreussenElektra and NVIDIA to assess AI data centers at former nuclear plant sites

Germany’s PreussenElektra announced that it will assess with NVIDIA the possibility of building “AI factory” data centers at former nuclear plant sites. PreussenElektra is responsible for decommissioning and dismantling eight nuclear facilities; the assessment will examine whether existing industrial sites can be reused under technical, economic and energy conditions.
